The RT-MINI II with AlphaSeal™
The RT-MINI II is our top-selling residential roof mount base, featuring Roof Tech Inc's self-sealing AlphaSeal™ PV Mounting Technology. It's crafted to connect standard rail mounting systems to any sloped roofs made of metal, EPDM, TPO, and asphalt.
The RT-MINI II offers more mounting choices for rafters and the combination of rafter and deck attachments. The optional RT 5 x 90mm stainless wood screws (for rafters only) allow for a broader span, and the offset rafter mounting provides additional options for any roof style and pitch. The updated design uses less aluminum, making it more efficient by reducing raw material usage and lowering logistics costs.
RT-MINI II is built to endure wind speeds up to 180 mph and ground snow loads up to 90 PSF. The primary distinction between RT-MINI II and traditional flashing is the quicker installation time, as RT-MINI II is secured with wood screws, removing the need for pilot holes. This means there's no harm to the seal on asphalt shingles. RT-MINI II is completely waterproof and certified by the International Code Council (ICC-ESR 3575). Stamped PE letters are available for 40 states in the U.S. and five provinces in Canada. Additionally, the RT-MINI II is approved for all HVHZ projects in Florida!
