SimpliPhi Power's BOSS.6 and BOSS.12 enclosures, made from carbon steel, offer weatherproof solutions for housing and wiring battery banks, complete with integrated shelving. The BOSS is designed to integrate a PHI battery bank with any SimpliPhi-compatible Balance of System equipment, and it can expand the battery capacity of a SimpliPhi ExprESS or AccESS unit. These enclosures come with terminal blocks for parallel electrical wiring, busbar-to-terminal block battery cables, and terminal block to inverter cables when ordered. The BOSS.6 and BOSS.12 are UL 9540 Certified when paired with our AccESS 12K and Sol-Ark.

The BOSS.6 Enclosure does not come with:

Busbars or battery cables for connecting batteries in parallel.
- Busbars for connecting two or three PHI batteries in parallel (SKU numbers BB-2-6 and BB-3-6, respectively) are available separately.
- The built-in 5-point terminal blocks feature 3/8” posts. Cables connected to and from these terminal blocks should have 3/8” lugs.

Busbar and cabling kits can be purchased from any SimpliPhi distributor for the number of batteries intended for use in the BOSS.6 Enclosure.
All batteries within the PHI battery bank must be grouped identically (i.e., do not mix BB-2-6 and BB-3-6 busbar products within the same PHI battery bank, as this will void the PHI batteries' warranty.
Be mindful of these restrictions when wiring fewer than 6 PHI batteries in the BOSS.6 enclosure.
