The latest Solar Utility Pro from Seaward elevates PV testing. With the advent of more efficient 1500V modules and inverters, Seaward has responded to industry demands for a user-friendly and durable tester with 1500V capabilities.

Its leading 40A current capacity allows the Solar Utility Pro to test parallel-connected strings up to 1500V / 40A, removing the need to separate strings to comply with the lower limits of other devices.

Pressing the Test button once provides values for Open Circuit Voltage and Short Circuit Current, and when used with the Seaward Solar Survey 200R irradiance meter, it also records irradiance, module, and ambient temperature readings. The extensive internal storage can hold up to 999 complete record sets, which can be exported as a CSV file to a PC for analysis.

To facilitate on-site testing, the Solar Utility Pro comes with 1.5M long conversion leads that change the standard MC4 leads to alligator clips – especially handy in combiner and junction boxes.

The Solar Survey 200R Mounting Bracket allows you to attach your Irradiance Meter to your solar panel and position it at the same angle as the module for optimal accuracy and ease of measurement, freeing up your hands for testing in the field.
