The EG4 Line Set Extension Kit offers an extra 16.4 feet (5 meters) of lines for your EG4 mini-split air conditioning unit. This extension is ideal when the standard 16.4 ft. (5m) lines provided with the mini-split are insufficient. Both the line sets in this kit and those with the EG4 mini-splits come pre-vacuumed and feature Plug-N-Cool connectors. Additionally, the kit includes connectors to link the Plug-N-Cool line sets together without needing an HVAC professional.*

Adding a line set extension increases the system's volume, potentially causing around a 3% efficiency drop per additional line set. To offset this, a certified HVAC technician can introduce refrigerant (.2 oz./ft.) into the system.

Line set extensions should be installed during the initial setup of the indoor and outdoor units. This extension kit is not designed to lengthen the line sets of a system that has already released refrigerant by opening the outdoor unit's refrigerant valves.
