The VE.Bus Smart dongle serves dual purposes:

Firstly, it acts as the Bluetooth accessory for our inverter/charger lineup: Multis, MultiPlusses, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattros, and the Phoenix Inverters series with a VE.Bus port. Once set up, the VictronConnect App can be used to oversee operations and manage the system: adjust the input current limit and toggle between Off, On, and Charger-only modes.

Secondly, it functions as a Voltage and Temperature sensing device for the inverter/charger, compatible with all models.

For monitoring purposes, this device is an excellent choice for caravans, smaller yachts, and motor homes where the Color Control GX or Venus GX might be excessive.
