Deger - Pendulum Wind Guard Kit

All DEGER tracking systems necessitate a wind monitor to safeguard against storm-related damage. It adjusts the module surface of the systems to a horizontal position when a specific wind speed is detected. Typically, the wind monitor is installed on a mast to accurately measure the wind speed at the correct height.

The pendulum holder allows you to attach the wind monitor directly to the module surface of the tracking system. Thanks to the pivot-mounted pendulum with a counterweight secured on the nodal bar, the nodal bar will consistently rotate to a vertical position regardless of the DEGER system's orientation. This ensures that the wind monitor's anemometer is always ideally exposed to the wind and never caught in the DEGER system's slipstream.
