Disclaimer for 48V operation:
For most standard battery types (such as Flooded Lead Acid) and across most Canadian climate regions, the 100Voc limit of the charge controller permits only 2x54cell or 2x60cell (or 2x120cell equivalent) solar panels to be connected in series. This setup may not deliver adequate charging voltage for 48V nominal battery systems to fully charge (or equalize) the battery bank.
Only use this 48V mode if you have verified that, for your particular configuration, the PV DC voltage in high-temperature conditions is sufficiently high.
