The JA3 solar fasteners for wooden structures are designed with a precision-engineered stainless steel thread that reduces radial forces and limits the expansion of the wood in the purlins.
They are available with the standard FZD sealing element or the EJOT ORKAN Storm Washer upon request. Length can be adjusted to fit the project requirements.
The JA3's unique thread design ensures optimal fastening performance in softwood substructures.
JA3-SB for wooden substructures
1. An internal SW5 hex drive is used to insert the fastener through the roof panel into the substructure.
2. Adapter plates or L-feet for securing the rail or racking system are attached and fastened with M10 lock nuts and washers.
3. FZD sealing washer positioned below the precisely defined depth control stop.
4. EJOT JA3 self-tapping screw 5/16" (8.0mm) x L.
