With a design life of 10 years, Trojan Battery’s Solar Premium series of flooded, deep-cycle batteries is crafted to endure the demanding environments of renewable energy applications. Our product strategy revolves around a straightforward goal – to produce the highest quality battery in the market, which is why our Premium series is tested to IEC standards.
The Premium Line includes:
- Alpha Plus® Paste with T2 Technology™ which enhances porosity development in the active material, allowing it to be utilized more efficiently. This leads to prolonged battery performance over time.
- DuraGrid™ Design offers a robust grid structure that resists corrosion, and when paired with the Alpha Plus Paste with T2 technology, extends the overall lifespan of the battery.
- Maxguard® XL Separator is exclusively found in Trojan’s Premium and Industrial lines. It features a broad-channel design that enhances acid flow for optimal battery performance and provides increased resistance to stratification, a common failure mode in batteries used in renewable energy systems.

The Polyon™ container is Trojan’s extremely durable case design that shields against damage from harsh environmental conditions, such as moisture and dirt accumulation, and prevents potential acid leaks.
