The XW Conduit Box attaches directly beneath an XW inverter to ensure user safety by preventing accidental contact with wires or connections. It comes included with the Power Distribution Panel and the XW Connection Kit, but can also be purchased separately.
Securing the Conduit Box is simple with two screws provided at the bottom of the inverter. The bottom flange can be mounted (fasteners not included) to the wall to finalize the setup. The front panel can be detached by removing two screws, providing ample room for all necessary wiring connections.
For installations with multiple units, the sides of neighboring conduit boxes can be removed to form a spacious raceway for AC and DC inverter cables. The conduit box also features several cable strap points, ensuring a neat and professional finish.
Additionally, an internal metal barrier is included to separate communication wires from AC and DC power wires.
